Quiet Days 2011
For Individuals at Parkminster
"Come away to a quiet place, and rest awhile"

The sisters of Minster Abbey are offering a number of Quiet Days at Parkminster. The beautiful and quiet setting provides an opportunity for prayer, silence, reflection and the appreciation of beauty in creation. We hope that it will also provide an opportunity for experiencing the creativity and healing of God's love.
During the day you will be able to enjoy the attractive grounds and gardens and join the community for prayer in the Monastic chapel. A large comfortable room is available for your use during the day. Coffee and tea making facilities are also available. Please bring your own packed lunch. A sister will be available for spiritual help and guidance, by prior arrangement. The day begins at 10:15 and concludes at 5:30 p.m. A donation of £5 per person is suggested. (Or whatever you can afford)
These days are provided exclusively for individuals to have a time of quiet and reflection. We welcome Christians and people from all faith traditions.

Maintaining a silent and peaceful atmosphere.

Most visitors desire a peaceful and silent atmosphere on these quiet days, so we try to ensure that there is a prayerful environment. We ask that all guests respect the silence and stillness of the others. Pre-booking is essential.
